LETTERS ACROSS GENERATIONS
Connecting teens with seniors through handwritten letters and meaningful community engagement
What is the Ladybug Project?
The Ladybug Project is a teen-led nonprofit focused on creating meaningful connections with the community.
Our first program, Letters Across Generations, pairs teenagers with senior citizens to exchange handwritten letters over a guided cycle.
We believe small, consistent acts of care build stronger communities.

How the Program Works
βοΈ Get Matched
Teens are thoughtfully paired with senior participants through our partner organizations.
π Write Letters
Participants exchange letters over a set period using guided prompts.
Through reflection and storytelling, both generations feel seen and heard.
π€ Build Connection
Why Intergenerational Connection Matters
Many seniors experience isolation. Many teens feel unheard.
Writing letters slows things down. It creates space for listening, reflection, and mutual understanding across generations that rarely get the chance to connect.
